Very tasty there. The waitress was a little stressed, but that's completely normal when the shop is completely full. All in all very recommendable.

Very tasty breakfast eaten. Nice space, you can also sit outside. Nice service staff, who are also happy to respond to extra requests. The hygiene rules are currently being carefully observed here. There is a lot of ventilation and disinfection, everyone is wearing masks. You are led to the table. We'll definitely come back in better times!

We had reserved a table for the birthday breakfast at 9.00 a.m. with 7 people. We had our first coffee after 25 minutes and breakfast came 65 minutes after our arrival. Positive: The rolls were delicious and the service came very quickly to cash in. If breakfast would have come so quickly. The day was over. We have been there many times - and everything never worked out - but this time for the last time.

Delicious, weekly menu changing, extra requests are realized, price / performance fits more as well. The portions are too big for me, but taking the leftovers with you also works.

I stopped my bike tour here for a lunch break. You can sit on the terrace very nicely, I liked the minced steak. It wasn't a weekend, and yet all the tables on the terrace and sometimes even in the dining room were occupied. That speaks for the Alte Post.

We ate awesome! The food was not only delicious, but also super presented. The dessert too - a dream. And then on the great terrace - we'll be back - even if it's a longer journey from the Taunus. Afterwards, a walk in the multi-generation park is recommended!

Good food and drink! Open all day, every day! Commonly very busy (I would recommend reservations). Waitstaff is often challenged with the large volume of customers.

Cozy and friendly place with good food at reasonable price. Quite busy in the weekends and holidays - reservation recommended. My team and I would go here at least once when we are in the Alzenau area.

Super Location

I do not have much knowledge of restaurants in the Alzenau area, but considering the standards found in Poland, Italy or Greece, I must say that at the price for which you can eat dinner there is no reason to complain. The dishes are fresh, tasty, very large portions. Food is quite fatty for Bavaria, also people with a sensitive liver should consider alcohol, especially for schnitzel. The decor does not stand out either in the positive or negative. There is quite a cozy, homely atmosphere. Very nice, professional, discreet and unobtrusive service. I would recommend!

Good service, my food was fine but the goose my mother had was dry and overcooked. The waitress made up for it by being in nice. 😁 there only t 3 stars ✨
